Doppler Model 902 Portable Flow Meter
Ease of operation is a main feature of this Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meter. It is not quite as accurate as Transit Time, but is very easy to operate. Accuracy is 2% of full scale (accuracy of a Transit Time flow meter is usually 1% of rate).
Clamp-on non-invasive transducers for quick and easy installation.
The standard configuration provides everything necessary to measure flow in pipes ranging from 1 to 120 inches (25 to 3050mm). An optional small pipe transducer can be applied to pipes from 1/4 to 1 inch (6 to 25 mm).

Model 902 Flow Meter displays rate and total. It also has a 4-20mA output. Ideal for Raw sewage, Lift Stations Mining Slurries, fluids with aeration and fluids with suspended particles. (Required )
Operates on battery (8 hours), as well as 110 VAC. "Simplicity" is the best way to describe this flow meter. Apply silicone grease on the transducers. Strap them to the pipe or tube at the appropriate place with the elastic staps provided. Turn the flow meter ON. Punch in the ID of the pipe or tube on the keypad. Press the RUN button and observe the flow rate and totalization on the indicator. There are a couple of other refinements, but, in the far majority of cases, the above procedure is all there is to it. The appropriate place for the transducers is describe in the literature provided.
